Sacrifice (CLOSED)

In a realm where dragons' wings are sheared,
Maidens, warriors, destinies neared.
Nurtured as guardians, silent and true,
Pursuing a lethal rite, their fate in view.
A bitter dance, a duel for life's breath,
Companions bonded since childhood's depth.
The ritual unfolds, the glow of the treasured egg,
Symbolizing joy and shadows, a silent plague.
Triumphant warrior, heart in throes,
Blood mixed, a bond where life and death impose.
Cradling the egg with love, a poignant essence,
As if her child, a symbol of shared transcendence.
Vanquished confidante, in memory's shade,
A fallen comrade, an offering to destiny laid.
Young women initiated in the dragon's embrace,
A mystical bond, where death sings a requiem, a grace.
Honoring the blade, in the fateful fight's span,
With steel in hand, facing the impending night's plan.
The contender, companion, confidante of yore,
Her spirit merges with the egg, a tale to explore.
Dreams and aspirations, tightly knit,
Defeated, her lifeblood, a shared spirit transmit.
Guardian warrior, between honor and marrow,
In her heart, past and future deeply furrow.
The poem chants a saga of intertwined lives,
Death births life, where friendship thrives.
