Dragon's Vow (CLOSED)

Dragon's Vow
In that shell, fragile and warm, my wings found their start,
Your touch, human, held a fire that lit my heart.
But the chill of your skin, like winter's embrace,
Froze our world, whispered of a love misplaced.
Once a haven of warmth, a friend close and true,
Now your absence echoes, a tear I can't subdue.
The frost in your eyes, a whisper of lies,
Chills my bones, leaves a hollowness inside.
Sleep now, companion, beneath starry skies,
Under heaven's shroud, where your goodbye lies.
Your breath, once a song, in silence takes flight,
Our love, like a flame, fades into the night.
Where laughter once danced, the land now turns brown,
Only silence remains, a desolate town.
A sorrowful tune, a ballad unsung,
Of a love that burned fierce, then tragically clung.
Beyond time's icy grip, I stand sentinel tall,
A lonely dragon, bound by memory's thrall.
Your ghost in the darkness, my only solace,
My vigil I keep, through endless night.
Forever bound, forever alone,
Eternity stretches, a horizon so bare.
No sunlit laughter, no joy to share,
But in this solemn vow, our love rings true.
Faithful dragon, my loyalty burns, forever blues.
