My last entry.
This one is also based on a comic I'm doing. This one takes place in an alternate world where supernatural human beings, called Lumhn (Loo-Min), face discrimination because of their origin in 1989, when three mysterious explosions wiped over 20% of North America off the map and caused a pandemic where an estimate 40 million people were developing LED-like irises of various colors and a random superpower instead of symptoms of any illness. Despite this, only 3% of the Lumhn population actually know how to use their power.
In 2020, another explosion occurred. This time, 8 housing communities were wiped from the map, replaced by craters. Unfortunately, 2 years later, a man, at the age of 18, was sentenced to death for allegedly orchestrating the attack, after being arrested in an alley when he was 16 years old. The next problem? After 7 years of imprisonment, he might actually be the wrong guy, and his high school best friend, now famed model and rock soloist Valkyrie Sun (The Main Character), and the city of Yulix, Nebraska (fictional setting) has 10 days to get a retrial approved for the accused man. However, half of the world believes in him. The other half doesn't.
Valkyrie, 25, is a Chinese/Swedish woman with a family tree that branches out as far back as both the Qing Dynasty (Mom's side) and The Viking Age (Dad's side).
The Tattoos covering her arms and chest is her own way of embracing her Chinese heritage, as well as to honor her mother, who passed away when she was only 5.
She also has tattoos across her upper back for her father, who also passed on that same day.
