" NO LIGHT, NO REFLECTION " (CLOSED)

" NO LIGHT, NO REFLECTION "
A 3D underwater scene created by me [ Peter van der Linden ] using 3ds max and After effects, Element 3d,
post work in Photoshop.
The depths of the sea, most of this world, are hidden from human beings.
Full of darkness and mystical creatures, some of which can create their own light.
This is called Bioluminescent, light made by chemicals in their own bodies.

Well done and I liked your dramatic movie especially.
Even though there is no light (or little light) you still get the bioluminescent light from the sea anemone which has relection on the sub and there are lights beneath the sub (if it was pitch black we wouldn't be able to see anything) just reference to title
you mean bioluminescent light, instead of the usual light emission of course. Plus good job taking your entry through different stages of work and software.
Would you think placing a little light source inside the sub's inner section would make the observant's faces more visible (not too much, that would take away the reflection of the anemone from the outside).
A render worth deserving attention. Best wishes with your exquisite work.
