Sun, May 19, 2024Really like your piece!
The muted colors contribute nicely to the intended vintage feel, the interplay of the family members, engaged in activities and interests according to their age but in a way united by the beam of light of the projector.
You managed to capture a great family reunion vibe. Even the framing of your composition looking like a projector screen is quite a nice additional touch.
Congrats for the creativity Peter and good luck in the competition.

I remembered those projectors, I think our elders did the same, might be lying around somewhere as a relic, but might still be working. If I remember correctly they used to say those projectors really heated up after a while : D If I were you I would've collected those vinyl lying at the back of the room in your picture, there might be a treasure of classics lying back there :3 Some people still like the sound of vinyl and high fidelity sound seekers go for the lamp tube amp or the modern amps.

Best wishes with your heartwarming nostalgic render : -D
