Amelie: A Raw Beauty (CLOSED)

For the Reflection Render Contest by #RenderHubContest, I created another scene featuring the character Amelie in the art studio setting. Drawing inspiration from films like "Blue Is the Warmest Color" and "Young & Beautiful," I aimed to capture the essence of introspection and beauty that reflects both the present and the past of Amelie.
I downloaded the studio environment from the free assets available on Sketchfab. I reconstructed the setting in Blender, creating light sources where there were only lighting images. Then, I created the scene in Daz Studio and rendered it in Nvidia iRay. The colors, hair adjustments, and dust particles in the air were all done in Photoshop. Additionally, I included a classic-structured mirror, symbolizing a family heirloom that reflects Amelies beauty and her past.
In this render, I tried to convey a specific feeling and story. Amelie stands before the mirror, capturing a moment of quiet reflection and raw beauty, as if contemplating her own journey and the paths yet to be taken. Her expression, a mix of vulnerability and strength, echoes the timeless allure and mystery of her character.
I hope you enjoy it! Soon, I'll be posting more renders depicting Amelie's life, and hopefully, more entries for the competition. Once I get everything organized, I'll be launching a graphic novel of her. I will also be publishing a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the adjustments and post-production style I generally use in Photoshop, the style I use in all my artworks of Amelie.
