Why buy super-detailed models of construction equipment? (CLOSED)

No. It is not just about construction equipment. Construction equipment is just an example of what I mean here.
I see highly detailed models of items like construction equipment, harvesters and so on, for appropriately high prices.
My question is: who buys these assets and why?
I've never seen renders featuring such assets. These assets must be for some realm of use I'm completely ignorant of. Some kind of super-obscure niche market that the general public never sees. Perhaps the super-rich pay some techie artists very well to create super-detailed VR worlds on super-computers where the super-rich live out very realistic fantasies, wherein they might be standing real close to bulldozer. I just have no idea.
Anybody else have a clue?

It is possible that these models will be used to make cartoons for children's television shows, or even for films, or model kits, toys.
In fact I know absolutely nothing about it but these are ideas that came to me while reading your message

Safety and instructional animations is my first thought. Architectural presentations is my second. Simulators is my third.

I would imagine that the people buying those insanely expensive assets are industry professionals, as they're most likely buying them on the company's dime, so money is not an issue…
I mean, that's the only thing I can think of as individual purchases would make no sense buying hair props for $80, when you can get them for $10-20!
