This artwork is my submission for the Reflections Render Contest. Titled "Amelie: Echoes of Solitude," it delves into the themes of longing and connection in a digital age of cyberpunk. I aimed to capture a sense of quiet desperation, enhanced by the contrasting red and blue lighting that bathes the scene. The volumetric fog to adds a layer of surrealism, a classic in synthwave scenes, while the retro tech elements evoke nostalgia, juxtaposed with the stark vulnerability of Amelie.
Created the set using Blender and Daz Studio for character posing in scene, I rendered with Nvidia iRay. Final touches, including color grading and additional effects, were made in Photoshop. This artwork is part of a larger exploration of cybernetic themes and emotional narrativest hat I love and pursue so much.
