NEVER GIVE UP ON ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS (CLOSED)

Reflections Render Contest - NEVER GIVE UP ON ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS
by Peter van der Linden

In this 3D scene (Render) Albert Einstein, one of the greatest geniuses of our time, struggles to make a simple boat with his new 3D printer.
After many attempts he finally succeeded.
So never give up to achieve your goals, even the greats struggle sometimes.

Never give up on achieving your goals... and small goals lead to big success. Look how he started with the small atoms and went to explore the last
frontier : o)
As a matter of fact, you are historically correct in some ways too, since;
''When Einstein turned fifty, his friends gave him a 23-foot sailboat, which he named Tümmler, which means porpoise in German. Einstein said he liked sailing because it gave him a chance to relax after all his hard work thinking up equations and theories in his study. Those theories won him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921''. -(National Maritime Historical Society)-
He must've made the model of sailboat's too !...
... Good luck with your entries...

Wed, Jul 31, 2024Yes, you're right, besides humor I like to put a (hidden) message, meaning and/or reference to something in all my images. Nice that you noticed (fun fact, Albert Einstein never learned to swim, but he did like sailing).
Einstein believed that pipe smoking contributed to a calm and objective judgment.
Not in this case, given the broken pipe by the desk lamp.
Oh well, it's all just for fun.
Good luck to you too.

Wed, Jul 31, 2024Good complimentary information from you too. This should sum up the overall idea behind this render nicely.
I wish for the best of your entries too. Have a joyful day!

Nice fun render,
My opinion so take with a pinch of salt.
I believe Einstein actually plagiarized most of his work from other people but the financial / corporate world liked him as well as the press. It's quite interesting researching Einey . Electricity and magnetism were never part of his understanding so he missed a lot that can fill the gaps in our current understanding. Electrical Current flow creates magnetism and magnets attract or repel depending on the charge. We observe this all the time with comets and our new telescopes can see the magnetic fields. We still know so little because the funding is so hard to get. If it's interesting check out the thunderbolts project on yt
I digress lol.
My 3d printer normally gets to the stage shown in your render and the nozzle knocks the model off the plate and a final print of plastic Spaghetti is all I get at the end XD I haven't printed anything in ages.

Sat, Aug 03, 2024Hi Bonj,
Maybe you're right, I don't know, I've never really looked into Albert Einstein, I just know some fun facts, that's all.
It doesn't change the fact that he has knowledge that I'll probably never understand, that's why I included him in my image as a joke.
The message is, even if you're seen as a person with great thinking/intelligence (Albert Einstein), doesn't mean you know everything.
Yes, I think the plastic spaghetti strands are recognizable to anyone with a 3D printer.
