Scary Books Are Bad

Latest progress screenshots, not much added as we are in rainy stormy season down here in Florida so not going to fry my PC trying to work during lightning strikes. But here is the progress that has been done.

It is so appreciable that you make somehting cosy & cute & spooky while others just make more and more emphasis on simle disgust. Alas, we are the minory among Renderhub's artists...

Wed, Sep 11, 2024Thank you so much, I was getting worried seeing the others works and how far from my style of thought was. Figured I totally missed the mark and was doing something totally wrong. Makes me feel more comfortable to continue on.

Had some issues with my 13th gen i9, needless to say I was busy trying to get that taken care of before continuing on. Got along a bit with it tonight.

Wed, Sep 11, 2024That looks nice
but also makes me wonder what will happen to my i5 vPro when the rendering engine will be busy with My final render for this contest. Being a Computer engineering student, I can tell you though, that the in-built graphics unit inside modern CPUs is seldom, if ever, used by the computer, since the external GPU is the default hardware that maintains sytem and app graphics.
What is your GPU model, may I ask?

Wed, Sep 11, 2024I have the kf model so no built in graphics for that reason. No need to tax the cpu over basic display. I am using an rtx 4090 as my gpu. The 13th and 14th gen i7 and i9s are known to intel over the past two years to have over voltage spikes and they just now released a bios flash update to most motherboard manufacturers to address this issue. However it has been going on for 2 years now without the patch so how much has it already prematurely degraded my cpu. They (intel) are extending their warranty to 5 years instead of its original warranty period.

Wed, Sep 11, 2024Oh, I get it... must be a pain. What does it look like when a voltage spike occures? I mean, does your computer shut down immediately with a black screen, or you can just feel the heat coming from the radiator, and the precessing speed descreases significantly? I have no experience with both i7 and i9 CPUs

Still setting up materials, nearing completion then I will do some color grading. Still got a tree and some arms to do as well. Figured I would post some sort of progress update.
