How To Position A Tattoo On A Character's Back? (CLOSED)
84I've watched a few tutorials on creating and placing tattoos, and I'm practicing placing them on forward facing parts of the skin. None of the tutorials I've found so far address tattoos on the back of the character.
I would like to place some on the back of the character that span most of the back; a "tramp stamp" , for example. My question is, given that the skin mat is flat, what is the best way to place the tattoo, and how do I get it to go across the back? Is it necessary to cut the tattoo in half somehow?
If the answer is too involved to describe here, I would welcome a link to a tutorial that addresses tattoos on the back surface of the skin.

"is it necessary to cut the tattoo in half somehow?"
The answer is yes, I did a free bodypainting that proves that the left and right side of genesis back tattoo should be cut in half

Thanks for the reply!
I think I can cut the tattoo in half in Photoshop. How did you figure out how to place them on the skin mat?
