Too often, my ideas seem to surpass the limits of my GPU and my skills, but I'm happy to let this one simmer. Thanks for hosting these contests; they're such a fun way to stretch over one's boundaries. The entry:

Nice copper tones on the dancer girl. That hand coming out from the ground was a surprise, kind of creepy. You decided not to use the ball seen in the wireframe with your render?
Good luck, let your work shine bright!

Mon, Oct 07, 2024Heh. That ball is a ghost light and I didn't expect it to show up. I think I could turn it off, but just more proof, right? Thanks DJ!

Tue, Oct 08, 2024Thank you, Jamie. For future reference, does a thumbnail need to be a specific size for the contest gallery?

Wed, Oct 09, 2024I can't even tell that I turned him into a little girl here, but it's good to be loved for what you are! Thanks, Beach! Good luck! I'm rooting for you.
I can't say I'm scared. Rather, I feel compassion and sadness looking at it. The main thing is that the picture evokes feelings. Great job!

Mon, Nov 04, 2024Haha, it's okay. I might be able to pull of Goth, but every "horrific" idea I had began leaning towards cutsey within the first five or ten minutes. I had one fabulous idea that peaked right AFTER Halloween. But I'm still not sure I'd have classified it as "horrific". Alas! Thanks for your comment. Did you not submit anything? I browsed for your moniker but haven't seen anything. (If I missed it, good luck!)
