Spider Mouth

'When you fall asleep spiders might crawl into your open mouth and weave a web' my father used to tell me when I was a child. Ever since I cover my mouth with the blanket when I fall asleep...
My first(possibly not last) submission for Horrific Render Contest 3 inspired by this childhood fear of mine. I am currently exploring new texturing styles, trying to widen my experience in creating hand-painted textures and learning more about specific styles, so I ve decided to combine my practice with my contest submission. It s pretty common to be affraid of spiders...not so common to be afraid of them speicifcally in your mouth, well, hopefully, I am not the only one with simple fears at 21
I have decided to make a cool comics-like cover image out of my first render:
Here is same render without comcis effect:
some more renders:

process: zbrush -> maya -> substance painter -> maya render

Tue, Oct 22, 2024That's easy. first, crop your desired thumbnail to be a square, then go here to this link >> https://www.simpleimageresizer.com/upload .
then, import the render photo, click on the "dimensions" button, set the resolution to 400 x 400, click the green "resize" button, download the newly resized image, and share it here, and that'll be your thumbnail! all thumbnails need to be 400x400.
