Hi all! For this 3D competition, I created a render of a fantasy praying mantis, inspired by my work as a macro photographer and amateur entomologist. Drawing from photos of my cryptic mantis, I reimagined its intricate details and alien-like features in a surreal design. I used ZBrush for sculpting, Adobe Substance Painter for texturing, and Adobe Substance Stager for the final scene. As someone fairly new to 3D, this project was an exciting way to merge my love for insects with digital art!
