GLBNature's Phantom: Fantasy Stick Insect Evolution

For this 3D competition, I created a render of a fantastical creature inspired by my own macro photography, particularly of the Extatosoma tiaratum stick insect. As a macro photographer and amateur entomologist, I aimed to reimagine the insect's unique form in a surreal and otherworldly way. Using ZBrush for sculpting, Adobe Substance Painter for texturing, and Adobe Substance Stager for staging, I combined my passion for insects with the creative freedom of 3D design. As a newcomer to 3D, this project has been a fun and challenging blend of my love for nature and digital art.
