Novel Cover Page (Mock UP) - Ver.1
I had to first work on the background figure and Spider... there was the posing from
scratch bec. there was none I could find wrt effect I wanted going here.
Next the Brave that has ventured to conquer the Demon of the lair.
Most of the lighting was by using primitive mesh lighting.
Postwork was with the help of Brushes mainly from RON aka Deviney.
POV was the most impt requirement as I needed to showcase the creature and prey,,,
but slighly blurred to create the tension, yet not lose out too many details.

First of all I want to wish you good luck in your work.
just my personal opinion. Blurrying the background slightly might give you more details but In my pov, you should add more blurryness as the main focus should the be character at the front. I know from personal experience that you want to show all the work you have done, but sometimes we need to prioritize the general view. In your case also decreasing the light in on the overal edges would give you nice outcome.

Sun, Oct 27, 2024Yes that was what I was struggling with. The theme was to showcase horror, but my fear was blurring too much would take away the theme of the competition too much.... so added back a bit more sharpness to the background as opposed to the original work I had done. lol... Thank you all the same.
