I created these characters in August, with the initention of putting them in a music video for my band Non-Bio (you can watch that here if you like:

) What I've done here is upgrade them and add several new textures and objects and lights so that I can present them in a new scene for this contest.

The characters were initially modelled in Zbrush, with a  Maya polygonal workflow used to create their clothes and accessories. The textures were painted on in Zbrush and then the UV maps were re-worked in Photoshop in order to get them perfect. The characters were auto-rigged using Mixamo and the scene was arranged and lit in Maya. The final renders were raytraced using Mental Ray.

The meaniming of this scene? I'll leave that down to your individual interpretations
