Very nice render. Toadstools are one of the world's dealiest mushrooms no matter how cute the small ones might look and one called dead man's hand which totally looks what name suggests it to look, is one of the creepiest looking mushroom. Good reminder to be careful when going to pick mushrooms from the forest. Picking non eatable ones can be extremely dangerous.

Sun, Nov 03, 2024Thank you Uqotis, that's very sincere of you. You're right, on top of that, magic mushrooms can be delusional, so the hand may be a hallucination for the observer. It's left to interpretation. I was intending to make an underwater scene with a diver putting his hands on rocks and stuff at first. It turned out to be an underground scene. The hand was supposed to be the squid's arms and tentacles. It always made me uneasy watching those divers putting their hands in cracks and holes among the submerged rocks, including the sunken ships which may be invested with sharks. Moray eels and barracudas could've been dangerous too.

Sun, Nov 03, 2024That too. Some are still bein used as such purposes modern day. Herbs overall played huge role in medical scince's history. That scene sounds facinating also. Old stories told about sea monsters and giant octopusses. Facts are that octopi are extremely smart and fast to learn and the way that they punch fishes and thro seashells at other octopi makes them sound awesome badasses. xD Do you think that divers ever get punched in the nose by them? xD I also readabout pistol crabs and their sound weaponry that they have in thier claws to stun fishes. ( Someone who is facinated by all this kind of stuff. )

Sun, Nov 03, 2024Some of those stories might be exaggerated, while there are few giant sea creatures, perhaps not capable of sinking ships.
The truth is that octopuses, no matter how big they are, don't prey on humans. In fact, no cephalopod species—even the massive squids of the deep—are interested in humans as food. However, all octopuses are capable of defending themselves against anything or anyone that might try to harm them. It is possible, though not easy, to get bit by an octopus. Octopuses' beaks are sharp, and their saliva contains cephalotoxins that paralyze their prey. Most octopus bites aren't fatal to humans, although they can cause swelling and pain. -Octonation
On the other hand, blue ringed octopus is smaller than a 50-cent coin, but its bite releases a toxin that can kill if treatment isn't administered fast enough.
''Both range in size, but the largest squids (around 60 feet) are far larger than the biggest octopuses (around 16 feet). Squids travel continuously, and some move in schools, while octopuses are more solitary, often living in dens''.-Dictionary
''Cephalopods range greatly in size. The giant squids (Architeuthis species) are the largest living invertebrates; A. dux attains a length of more than 20 metres (60 feet), including the extended tentacles''.- Brittanica
