Thanks for the contest!
I have one question, i was thinking in creating a funny render to participate that would include one of my BDSM products (one of my gags) , that would be permitted or my enter would be disqualified? It won't be anything vulgar or too extreme.

Thu, Nov 21, 2024There's been a few entries of similar nature in the past. Adult content is allowed.
Can we use models and/or effects from kit? Or do all elements have to be original?

Sat, Nov 30, 2024This is a render contest, so no modeling is required. You can use existing assets - no problem.
“Post work on Photoshop is allowed/p>
Does this include adding Snow or dust particles? Additional effects like frozen camera or motion blur or is it just a color ?

Sat, Nov 30, 2024The rules for this contest do not specify any limitations regarding that type of post-work.
I guess I could say "the more 3D - the better" to fit the listed Judging Criteria better.

Thu, Dec 05, 2024You can use the 3d software of your choice, it is not limited to DAZ Studio! The competition is for still images and animations will not be judged!
Hello, is it possible to enter more than one artwork? And what happens to the prize if the artworks are selected? Will the artwork with the best placement remain and the other will not be judged?

Fri, Dec 13, 2024Thanks @beachlegs for helping them out.
And to clarify... If the judges happened to pick the same artist for more than one prize, their top pick would receive the prize and an alternate winner (a different artist) would take the place of the other.

I know that the contest is called "Winter Fantasy", but the render has to be set in a fantasy world, meaning, medieval or something like that? Because I'm doing something very cyberpunk-y, futuristic... Is that allowed?

Fri, Dec 13, 2024Your idea certainly is allowed, and it sounds cool!
A winner of a previous Winter Fantasy Render Contest had a theme like that, and another had their scene with an astronaut on the moon.
Feel free to check out previous winners here:

Hello, can I just ask if I use a backdrop from the daz store, winterscapes, outside a window? or does that not count within the rules? everything inside the window would be rendered and visible in wireframe?

Wed, Dec 18, 2024The use of backdrops, HDRIs, and things like that are perfectly fine. It's understandable they would not appear in the wireframe image.
