She brings the magic of winter to life.
This one was a lot of fun to make, created and rendered in Vue and Daz Studio. The background was created in Vue for this image using an atmosphere I had made for snowy scenes. I also made an HDR file in Vue with the setting for environmental lighting. I added a light rig and manipulated it for the correct colors and positioning of the sun coming through the snow clouds above. The snow was added inside Daz as well as a volumetric cube for added depth and overall feel. I added the bloom in Photoshop because I don't like how it can often distort things in the image when it's added inside Daz Studio.

The red bird was a nice touch.

Mon, Nov 18, 2024Thanks so much! I've often made backgrounds in Vue, mostly because I knew exactly what I wanted. And I made my own lighting as well. I'm working on being able to do that in DS now.
A good combination of artistic elements here. You did a fine job of not overpowering her with too much sunlight, while maintaining the reflection on her bright silver dress and face well balanced. I enjoyed the soft glows around her eyes, which complemented her makeup nicely, resulting in a great work.

Beautiful work! We had our first snowfall in Ohio a few days ago, and a cardinal was in the tree outside my window. This reminds me of that. Again, beautiful work!
