Hello ladys and gens.
I present to you my take on this winter themed render contest.
Usually i like to play around with dark-gore kind of fantasy when i do single renders like this one, but i decided to do something.... simple this time around.
The idea is closer to what i like the characters of the novel i'm in the midst of writing to look like.
Originaly i wanted to give her long hair but the wind node didn't want to cooperate with me, simulating was a painfully slow and as you already know a single take is never enough to find that sweet spot with the right plasement node and right simulating settings.
I even had daz studio crash a couple of times even though the model at the time was naked and the only thing that had to simulate was the hair with a wind node, but naaaah.. The hair sed.. not today sir, i will explode now... then i will crash daz for good measure.
At least the dress worked well.
In the end i found this short hair that i really liked and best of all... i didn't even need to stimulate them, they came with presets.
Now little about the character.
Her name is Astrid
She is of divine lineage that awaken as an Ice Monarch.
She's the ruler of the sky islands citadel north of Avalon (don't judge, i'm bad at thinking names).
Some of her most powerful abilities and passives are ice domain, frostbite, ice behemoth, ice golems and frozen flames.
In this presentation she's on her Monarch form, normally she doesn't have those raven black winds on her back nor the white glow on her eyes.
Her alabaster skin is much more warm in color accommodating her silver hair and icy blue eyes.
Enjoy.
