Nice render of the Crystal dragon.
Love the reflections in the water.
Well done BL
I wish I could hibernate during summer then wake up when it's winter lol.

Tue, Dec 03, 2024I agree with Cosmic, just like the first notion, reflections of water were superb in your scene. I think Cosmic meant '*estivation' as hibernation in summer time.

Your Stag girl (Deer lady) of nature was floating gently across the river! Stag girl may have druidic abilities, as the dragon appears to be charmed and falling into a deep sleep of hibernation, thanks to the powers of her crystal staff. I believe you have a grand concept here, both in terms of creature size and the amount of effort you put into this work. I wish you the best of luck with your amazing job, BL.
''In the wild, brumation is designed to conserve body function and fat reserves during periods of extreme environmental stress. A healthy reptile bearded dragon will undergo brumation in the winter to prepare for the breeding season that occurs in the spring. In the wild, bearded dragons enter a state of dormancy known as brumation during the cooler months. In the southern hemisphere, this is June, July, and August when the days are short and food is more scarce. During this time, they will burrow down, conserve energy, and rest until warm days return. In the wild, brumation would last three to four months''.
''Instead of focusing only on the winter months, *Mystical Dragons usually hibernate on a yearly or decade-scale. Since hibernation doesn't require a lot of energy, it's not a bad idea to sleep until the human and cattle populations have recovered. When they go into hibernation, they are also thought to heal fairly well''.
''Although it is not possible for humans to hibernate right now, scientists are looking for a way to put humans in a type of hibernation, or stasis, for long periods of time. This research would be especially helpful for astronauts during deep space exploration, reducing the need for food and oxygen''.
