Emma and Debbie were inseparable. Despite the five-year age gap, they shared a bond that was unbreakable. It was a crisp winter morning, and the sisters were excited about trip to the fairy forest.Their parents had warned them to stay close to the cabin, but the allure of the forest was too strong. As they ventured deeper into the woods, the trees grew taller, and the snow-covered ground became a blanket of white. The sisters laughed,played,and following animal tracks, unaware that they were straying further from home.It wasn't until the sun began to set that Emma and Debbie realized they were lost. The forest, once a place of wonder, now seemed dark and foreboding. The trees loomed over them, and the wind whispered through the branches. Panic set in, but Emma, the older sister, tried to stay calm for Debbie's sake.
"We just need to find our way back," Emma said, her voice steady but her heart racing. "Let's retrace our steps."
They tried to follow their tracks in the snow, but the wind had already started to erase them. The forest was a maze of similar-looking trees and paths, they couldn't distinguish. As the darkness deepened, so did their fear...
