Just BRING IT, Spring!

Behold my first entry to the Winter Fantasy III Render Contest.
This is my first time entering a contest here, so I presume I've done something wrong at some point and will be disqualified. Oh well.
My initial thoughts for this entry were based on the harrowing 2015 movie The Revenant, directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The austere and terrifying bleakness of this winter survival meditation on the human condition inspired me to go for a similar theme here, with great respect on the price we pay for survival in an uncaring universe.
And, well, I ended up with this. The idea changed a bit during production. These things happen.
In case you think me a monster for impractically equipping this Winter Fae Warrior Lady (or whatever) for her duties, I will have you know that I made sure her skimpy bikini was made of Chainmail for her protection, and her high heeled shoes had spikes on them for use as an additional weapon.
Realism, people! It's all about Realism! And I have always dedicated myself to Realism in all my renders.
What? Yes, I am a bit lonely. Why do you ask?
Anyway, this work gave me a chance to play with some Glass shaders I never use and am not sure why I bought. They make the presumably magical spear in her right hand look a bit more unearthly. The somewhat less magical weapon in her left hand I pretty much left alone so that it's inner beauty can shine.
And speaking of inner beauty shining, I felt that the composition of this work allowed the lady's perfectly formed posterior to shine as well. Unshackled by the bulky, constrictive demands of the patriarchy for sensible clothing, I felt this empowered the lady properly. And I have always had the greatest respect for empowering Bikinis. Very, very empowering. You're welcome.
The lady herself is Maya for Genesis 8.1 made by Marcius (I really hope that link works) available right here at Renderhub. Marcius is one of my favorite digital artists making empowered female characters, and I urge you to support their work.
This atrocity... I mean Render.. was made on Daz Studio, with some touchup work in Gimp. Smudge tools rock!
No AI tools were used in making this as I am terrified of using that stuff and unleashing Skynet or something.
The title of this piece was inspired by some of my favorite quotes from William Shakespeare's "A Midsomer Nights Dream." Actually, that is a complete lie. It was inspired by a catchphrase a favorite wrestler of mine used back in the 90's when I watched Professional Wrestling on the tele too often and completely wasted the irreplaceable gift of youth. That dude was cool!
This took me hours and hours as I kept changing my mind about all kinds of stuff.
I hope you like it.
Realistically yours,
