I am going from scratch. I really wanted to go the Soroyama retro direction. Designed the head on the iPad using Procreate and made a base  setup in Blender. Still very early in the proces.

Some retopo progress and planing of the panels and hard surface pieces. Still pretty simple but Retopoflow is shing in this phase. 

Some more progress, getting in the flow.

Almost done with the modeling. I hid the left hand . After the modeling is done it is time for UV unwrap and textures. This is a proof of concept with a rigging test.

This looks pretty cool so far.

Did some cleanup and broke the symmetry. Also added some more details to the shoes.

More clean up and I started on the inner skeleton. Robot's eat detail...

UV's anyone? Almost ready for texture painting.

Planning the textures. Think I will stay with a more golden version.

This is my final render. I aimed for a retro aesthetic as a tribute to Sorayama, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
