Tutorial: How to install DIM Packages manually or with DIM

This tutorial will show you how to install Daz Install Manager (DIM) packages either manually or with DIM. If you'd like to follow along, you can use my free Miriam Character.
DIM Method
Follow the images below to locate your DIM download folder. (skip this step if you know where it is.)

The path next to "Package Archive" is your download folder. Place the package (zip) there.
Click on the "Ready to Install" tab and your product should appear here; if it doesn't then click on the refresh button. Then click the "install" button.

Your product should now appear in the "Installed" tab and is ready to use in Daz Studio. Refresh your Daz library if it was open during installation.

Manual Method
Unzip the package using your preferred method and you will see the files below. The "Manifest" and "Supplement" files are not needed for a manual installation. Navigate to the Content folder.

Copy all of the files/folders inside the Content folder into your Daz Library. The location will vary based on your own configuration.

The product is now installed. If Daz was open while you installed the product then refresh your library so it appears.
