This artwork was inspired by a probable Novel about a quirky couple living in a Metropolis, Robot City. About what it means to be a gear within the great machinery of life. Every day they slog on, with every action leading to a reaction that seems somtimes burdenful and trying. The only thing that is constant in their lives is the majestic scene that greets them every monring. A new day in the warm embrace of their partner, rejoicing being alive and still functioning.
The artfwork was first sketched out as to how I wished to have the couple in a pict. Their pose and facial look. Then I headed into Daz Studio to gather the characters and their pose and environment.
Lighting was worked on too and camera angle. Then I worked on the background separately knowing that I wanted it to be outdoors with tall buildings in the horizon. Then after some post work in photoshop... this is the final result.
And as a Novel Cover...
