This 3D printed box features a simple and functional sliding cover design, offering an effective solution for organizing and storing small items. The minimalist aesthetic makes it versatile for various use cases, both personal and professional.
Modeled and rendered in SolidWorks 2024.
PURPOSE
Ideal for tidying up workspaces, storing stationery, or keeping small tools, this box can align neatly on a desk or shelf. The sliding cover provides quick and easy access.
Assembly Instructions
Simply print both the box and the cover. Ensure the cover fits snugly into the lip designed on the top edge of the box, enabling it to slide back and forth effortlessly.
Printing at a medium resolution is recommended to ensure the cover slides smoothly. Use PLA or PETG for durability. Supports are not needed due to the straightforward design.
SolidWorks Part file (sldprt) and 3d print files (obj, stl, 3mf, amf) of the models are included in addition to fbx, glb, igs, step, sat and parasolid file formats. A 3D pdf file of the model is added as well. All of the above rendered images are included in a zip file.
