Skinmaps LIE Genesis 9
I tried to create a collection of maps to break up the often very uniform colouring of the DAZ figure's skins adding a bit of realism.
There are four maps , head, body, arms and legs to darken the parts of the skin that are mostly exposed to the sun and five maps to lighten the areas that are not. I painted them in C4d Bodypaint, they look a bit rough but they work.
I didn't want to produce tan stripes from clothing, there are enough products for that, but more of an everyday colouring that just happens with outdoor life in summer.
The maps are 4096/4096 in PNG format with alpha channel transparency. They are meant to be put over the basic skin map via the LIE editor, in the sample I used 30% multiply for the dark maps and 20% overlay for the light ones on top of those.
The advantage of this method is that it's non-distructive, can be applied from within DAZ and works for every G9 figure.
They are of course completely free to use, and you are heartily invited to correct or optimise them!
And I would be happy to hear from you with every idea to make them better!
