As the light on the horizon dims, loud booms fill the air and bright patters spread over the sky. What is summer without a few fireworks celebrations?

I chose this topic because 1. Fireworks and summer just go together and 2. I wanted a chance to showcase fathers (who also happen to be celebrated in summer). The fathers who take their kids to the special fireworks watching spot, and have endless patience for their little ones climbing all over them like a jungle gym.

The MVP for this scene was scene optimizer. I had already rendered and edited an image fully before I decided I wanted to change the composition, but the render was taking ages and wouldn't stay on GPU. Made a few tweaks and put the whole thing through scene optimizer for a second time (had already used it once on the first round), and BAM! It rendered twice as fast as the first time. Good 'ol scene optimizer.
