Zhi Wo (The One Who Understands Me)
3D Render by chaoskhan_666The best way to explain the title in Western context, "Zhi Wo" (or more commonly used "Zhi Ji"), is BFF. In Chinese context, it means friends who understand and resonate with each other, and are willing to sacrifice for this friend. The verses basically means "How many people that you met in your lifetime actually understands you? If there is even one, it is worth laying down your life for him." This piece depicts 2 friends enjoying each other's company in the heat of summer. The characters were given a Chinese wuxia design as "brotherhood" is always a staple theme in wuxia stories. This was done in Daz and tuned in PS to give (or try to give) a Chinese ink painting feel. Color scheme-wise, the yin-yang theme was used (if you see it, you see it). Enjoy!
