Slavic Childhood at Grandma's
3D Render by honcharFor me, Summer Fun is about childhood memories — spending the whole summer at my grandparents’ house, when there were no worries or responsibilities, just endless fun and freedom.
I wanted to recreate one of those memories: a large basin standing in the middle of the yard, where you could splash around and cool off, while the geese would chase you away because they wanted the water all to themselves.
The bicycle, fruit trees, and all the little details around the yard are part of that same feeling — a simple, carefree summer spent outdoors.
I created the entire scene in Blender, modeling everything myself except for the geese. For the textures, I used Substance Painter, BlenderKit, and procedural materials.
I hope this scene brings back a little bit of childhood summer for someone else, too.
