Carousel Dreams
3D Render by midgard229Decided to do one more before time was up; just for fun. It's very different than my other entry but eh why not?
Another part of the joys of summer for me is the time we spend as children or with our children during those days. I remember hearing the chime of the Icecream truck, I remember the charms of festivals and carnivals. Summers seemed so endless then; surely because the perspective of relative time vs relative time lived, but it always felt like a dream away from all the books, the tests and monotony the school year would bring.
Fast forward to today, where I can see the wonder in the eyes of my own children, it reminded me of how fantastical summer could be. Along of adulthood we forget the charm of summer; we see the heat as a nuisance on the way to work, as a fleeting season where we mow grass with sweat at our brow. Seeing my children lost in Summer's wonder brought those feelings back and well, I figured I wanted to capture one of those moments as I watched my child on the carousel at the zoo.
