This is still a heavy work in progress and will be 30-45 seconds long when complete. Expect updated video and imagery soon!

All assets were made from scratch by me. The skull was sculpted, textured, retopologized, and texture baked by me in Blender. The moths were custom modeled and hand animated by me. I made textures for the moth wings in a separate program called fractorium, using custom math functions and fractal flames to create a convincing wing shape. I further refined the wings using texture painting in Blender. All other rendering, compositing, and video editing was done solely in Blender.
