Father's Embarrassing Portrait
3D Render by signshopHello everyone,
Having had plenty of family portraits to sit through in my lifetime, this scenario rings true to life.
NO AI was used in the creation of this artwork.
Their story:----------------
Family portraits aren’t for everyone, and Yanzhi, the father, would much rather stay behind the camera than in front of it.
He’s a little shy and never one to seek attention, but when things get serious, he’s always there when it matters.
Today’s portrait session, however, was organised by his daughter Leonor, with Mum, Judith, happily joining in.
Yanzhi has little choice but to go along with it.
He’s also slightly embarrassed by what the two women have chosen to wear, although he’s doing his best not to show it.
A few sideways glances probably give him away!
Perhaps he’s genuinely enjoying the moment as he simply knows that keeping the two women in his life happy is the safest option

SECOND IMAGE - The Raw Viewport Render and following, the Texture Shaded with lighting set up. There was also 'Sun-Sky Only' set in the render settings, but intensity dropped from 1.0 down to '.3'

Love the contrast between his facepalm and the two cheerful smiles, with that red and purple lighting! Seeing the Gothic Outfit become part of a scene with so much personality makes me really proud. Thank you so much for including my work!
