He woke beneath the trees, unsure of where he'd been,
He buried his own memory, really deep within.
He went out to picnic with his girl that day,
He found that girl and tried to run away.

I was in the middle ground, fearing what I might find,
Darker shadows kept moving beyond my mind.
Ravens crossed as the forest held its breath,
Darker terrors followed me to death.

A lonely owl watched beneath the fading light,
While deer soon arrived the twilight.
It grew bright, the particles started to fall,
In the darkness waiting a hole beyond the crawl.
