Sinead & Cliodhna
3D Render by GeinSinéad and Clíodhna

Sinéad decided to make herself look as intimidating as possible. So, she got into her regular armour and put on her favourite war paint. She also had those two bloody big swords... just to discourage any Would-Be’s if they Could-Be’s along the way. She excels at discouraging people!
It was late afternoon, a weeks later, when Sinéad arrived in Tullamore, at what she thought was her final destination. There was no tavern in sight, just a signpost and an overprotective Raven. But there was a young Cailín, busy picking wild berries, who looked up and said,"Hello... can I help you?"
The Cailín introduced herself as Clíodhna from the nearby village of Rahan. She struck up a conversation with Sinéad, who thought the young lady was adorable, and asked if she could point her in the direction of The White Pony Inn. Sinéad explained that she was supposed to meet the local Ranger there, who had something very important to tell her.
Clíodhna was a little surprised, because the Ranger in question is, according to her, a complete asshole and definitely not to be trusted. She said he would sell his own grandmother for coin, almost never did what he was supposed to do, and practically lives in the tavern.
After Sinéad told Clíodhna the sad story, Clíodhna became solemn and said she would do everything she could to help her find her friend, Róisín. Apparently, the Ranger knew a lot more about Róisín than he was letting on, and the reason he had sent Sinéad the message was now starting to look a little dodgy.
He had told her in his letter to meet him at The White Pony Inn in Rahan, Tullamore. He had obviously given her some half-assed directions on finding the place.
Well, Clíodhna knew exactly where The White Pony Inn was, because her mother own's it, and that’s where they live. She said she would take Sinéad there and get her the best room, if... she could have a ride on Rógaire, Sinéad’s beautiful, big black stallion. Sinéad had no problem agreeing to that!
Sinéad lifted Clíodhna up onto Rógaire’s back, much to her delight, and they set off on their thirty-minute walk to the village. They hadn’t gone far when Clíodhna’s big white dog... ahh, big white wolf, caught up with them. He’d been chasing rabbits in the woods.
Clíodhna said, "Oh, that’s Taibhse. Don’t worry, he’s very friendly, as long as you don’t try to harm me," she added, a grin spreading across her face. "Ask Leo, the Ranger, about that one!"
To be continued...
Cailín....... Col-Lean... Means... Girl
Clíodhna....... Clee-Ana... Means... Queen of the Banshees
Rógaire....... Rogai-r-e... Means... Rogue
Taibhse....... Tie-V-Sha... Means... Ghost
