Abandoned Horror House is a atmospheric horror scene built and rendered in Blender (Cycles). You stand at the top of a decaying staircase with only a flashlight in hand. Its beam catches a tattered curtain, scattered papers across the floor, and a family photograph on the blood-red wall, while a pale-eyed silhouette watches from the shadows.

I wanted to tell a story with as little light as possible: the single beam, the cold dark tones against the red wallpaper, and the figure that is more felt than seen. The scene was lit with a few point lights, a spotlight, and a sun, then graded in the compositor for a heavy, fearful mood.
