Venice - Protege

We have been spending a lot of time with Venice in the studio.

Nothing complicated, simple nudes.

We all want the process to become completely natural for her. She knows she is safe here, and respected.

She has her big commission coming soon, delays in getting some assets giving us a bit more time to wait.

Rada has been working with her daily, and it has been paying off.

We
did a series of these shots, only the three of us present. Rada did not
say much, acting as my assistant as much as coach. She would only give
small gestures, a nod, a smile, enough to give Venice more confidence,
and to keep her relaxed, but to allow her to make her own choices in
stance and expression.

Venice
and I chatted as we worked. I learned more about her last job in
London, the people she met, some of significant wealth and power. She
spoke of one day when a short haired redhead with a heavy Australian
accent latched onto her at a diplomatic luncheon and started to tell
stories about a certain Villa in the south of France.

Venice
admitted she was ready to panic, she had a previous bad experience with
a low quality porn 'producer', and I mean low, I looked up his work,
complete trash, who was practically stalking her. He would not leave her
alone and was starting to hassle her at her work. She put an order on
him and it stopped....for a while. When he broke that order, she broke
his jaw. She was wondering if history was about to repeat.

(I
will admit, having seen Ana fight, and even worn one or two of her
punches, I'd have almost paid good money to see this pair in a melee " data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="395" title=" (Lick)" width="15" height="15" onclick="showImg(this);"> Sorry girls.)

Ana
has her way though, and is a unnaturally good reader of people, and
Venice soon saw that she was not like that so called producer and Ana
was happy to walk away and never bring anything like it up again, if
that is how Venice wanted it. After a few days and meetings, Venice
agreed to come work with us.

This
story gave me a lot of insight, not just into Venice's character, but
as to her issues with being able to completely relax. I can certainly
believe being stalked by such trash would have an effect of one's
mindset, and after seeing Milla take a similar shutdown after she was
attacked, I was more determined than ever to ensure that no one felt
anything bad about our work.

It did give me pause however, and I lowered my camera. I tired to read her thoughts, but I am no Ana.

"Are you OK?" I asked.

She
turned her body towards me, put her hand behind her head and shifted
her hips just the way Rada had taught her. There was no intent to hide,
no shame or fear, she was majestic.

Yep, she was good to go.

Venice may be new, but she is already one of us, and that comes with certain protections.

And now our gun-slinging, combat proven Rada has taken her under her wing, lord help any asshole that tries anything now " data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)" width="15" height="15" onclick="showImg(this);">

(I wonder if Rada has given that stalkers info to her brother. That would scare the hell out of him, stop his silly games.)

These
easy, basic studio nudes are not only super quick to make and render,
but they focus on the model themselves with no other scenic
distractions. I've been playing around with Venice like this just to get
her completely into my mind and to let her character build naturally.
This all helps my creative process now and for future images that will
involve more.
