"...she's that type of girl you meet, and because she's clever, and cute, and funny, you become friends right away. You flirt with each other a bit, now and then, but it's never the kind of thing that feels like it'll lead anywhere; you're FRIENDS, after all, and you don't want to mess that up. Besides, you know she's way too smart to buy into any of the crap you usually dole out to get someone to go out with you. And then one evening, after you've been hanging out at the club you both like to go to, or you've been studying together, or working on a play or some project, you end up at her place just to unwind and maybe have another drink. Things go the way they usually do: great, lively conversation, lots of laughs, and just that little bit of playful flirting. Then it's so late, she tells you that you should stay the night, and you don't even think of what might happen. She gets the couch set up for you, and goes off to get ready for bed, and when you walk into her bedroom to give her a final 'goodnight', she's standing there, all smiles and playful coyness, and you kick yourself for not seeing what's been so obvious for so long..."
