'Stealing the Darkness'

From Chapter 74 of my fanfiction 'A Light in the Darkness':

"Tigeft ef tai." (A gift for you.) Jalyne whispered as his eyes flickered to her left hand.

Jalyne snapped her fingers on her left hand, releasing magic and summoning the gate behind her leaving the destination a mystery so the god couldn't follow. The hand on his chest flared briefly and then infused the Lord of Night with healing.

When they parted her eyes narrowed dangerously, more so because of the imagery of what she gleaned from his thoughts. Another piece of the puzzle entered the board. Her eyes softly glowed with light as Azarian set her down, taking a step backwards. Red eyes barely widened at the sight of the grayish-black orb above the palm of Jalyne's left hand.

She healed his wraith side.
