Made with 3ds Max and VRay, using 3rd party models. Every sequin is a physical model, there are over 20.000 pieces on her dress, there was just no other way to achieve realistic sequin effect (bump and displacement maps did not work). Skin material has subsurface scattering applied.

Very Beautiful , Great character and scene. Now for the dress material.
That is a lot of sequins, they must have been multi replicated surely not one at a time ?
How you did that is a mystery to me but they look fantastic !

keener: I used the Multiscatter plugin for the replication (the regular built-in Scatter did freeze my computer at such high count). I also added some randomness, as real sequins are also able to move-rotate a bit on the surface of the cloth.
