If a face has no or too little detail, it looks unrealistic. If it has too much detail, it looks unrealistic as well. The details in this render are way too exaggerated for a 19yo young woman. Sometimes less is more.

Like it and yes, the balance is hard to find. But it is easier to soften an exaggerated image than to paint in details that were not there in the first place. I think you did an excellent job.
