Broken Hearts & Torn Dreams FIXED
3D Render by RickWeshI'm one of those types that hates leaving things messed up, and this was messed up.
I won't present the long list of fixes I did, mostly because I don't think it's worth taking the time to type it all.
I hope my fellow artist will notice the differences, and I certainly hope viewers will leave a comment for my reading pleasure.
I'll remove the original after a few, unless others think it may be better left.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Such is an artist's existence. Always spotting one's own mistakes or simply areas of improvement. There are probably things you're second-guessing about on this, aren't you?
Looks nice, though. It caught my attention as a nice picture.

Personally I think this is a rather good render, I like how the light catches both the hair and the skirt. Also the colour pallette fits the mood.
If I had to find fault it would be the shadow, which seems a bit hard for the soft light.
If it is any consolation, I am rarely happy with my renders, but when I come back to look at them after a year or so I see goid things along with the bad and also a progression.

Fri, Mar 17, 2023Thank you.
As for the light I wasn't sure how else to approach that point. The closer the object is to the light the softer the shadow there is, yet moving the light close in this instance would reduce the size of the GOBO pattern in the scene.
The other solution would be to lighten the area in post work.
In photography adjusting the aperture would help some, but there will always be a dark side.
