Like a lot of people, I grew up on the films of Ray Harryhausen, who was such an idol to me that it literally shaped the course of my entire career. I have been developing an animated tribute to his great works, but with the caveat of attempting to be far more respectful of the cultures that were the basis for several of those story choices.

This is my design for Captain Sinbad. I wanted to make him more closely resemble someone of 9th century Persian heritage, albeit obviously making him a bit more "leading man" in appearance.
