Here to be seen is the Great Event: the tournament on snails. To the left Jeanne Vert DeGris von der Sparrenburg, to the right her opponent Herr Dolb von Schleichenberck. In the beginning, the audience was still enthusiastic. But as you can imagine, it ended as it always has. The audience went home or fell asleep - as did the opponents (depicted in the second image).
