Emelie turned around in exasperation.

"Stop it, Sunflower! Ever since we got down here you've been whining. You agreed to this assignment as much as we all did!"

The elf addressed looked at Emelie indignantly and pulled aside the handkerchief that she had pressed to her nose for hours.

" The order was to find two sewer workers! Not to crawl through the sewers of this town forever! We've been down here for three days and can't find anything!
It's damp, dark, dirty, nasty little critters are crawling around everywhere and everything about us smells like the sewer we're wading through!
If you ask me, the workers did the right thing and just ran off to find something better!"

Grimbeard, the dwarf, only gave her a mocking look before turning to Guhran again.

" And? "

The half-orc shook her head.

" Empty too. Maybe Flower is right and they really just took off. "

Now even Ser Woltan joined the conversation.

" And left their wives and children behind? "

The magician shook his head grimly.

" No folks, these were experienced and reliable workers. There's something fishy here and it's up to us to find out what it is! "

Now, not every job is heroic and adventurous, but money is money and the next meal doesn't come for free. So our heroes agreed to a job they usually refused.

Sorry for the grainy solution, but I canceled the render after 13h.
