A statue made for the Blender Artist’s Weekend challenge. It’s a really fun exercise and I’d recommend it to anyone who has a free weekend to spend Blending. I took it pretty seriously though and decided to make a full figure for the theme “Ave Imperator, morituri te salutant” It came out really nice and it was a great time. I didn’t end up winning that week as the competition was quite fierce, but I did come back another week and take home the win with my 2D style sunrise piece.
