Fri, Oct 27, 2023In futherance... Gorgeous, splashy, well lit... scenes .... are a dime a dozen. Everyone does 'em, but can they work with shadow...? can they think outside the box? Or is it all just selling... marketing?... are the real users hidden behind their product? Hmmm...

but, at the little cabaret / club I worked back in the 80s on LES, well, we didd a LOT of lower light use... I refuse to worry about all that 'realism' bologna... I've seen it. Over and over and ohmygod it makes it soo..purty!!!

On reflection, if low angle light exists on the stairs when only the lower floors are lit!
