When super powered beings clash over the skies of New York or Metropololis (they never do over London), what happens to those people in the buildings the villain or the hero gets punched through? If you believe the Man of Steel, they die, like anyone would, yet these super powered beings get celebrated as heroes. Sure they stopped the bad guy, but how many lives were lost? How much damage was done? Yet the next day we see people going about their ordinary lives like nothing happened. There are consequences to unleashing high levels violence in civil society and I wish more studios would take that into account when they make these "action" movies.
